What is A Cost Management Survey?

A COST MANAGEMENT SURVEY. An example could be the budget for a home improvement project. A typical example could be applying costings to a surveyors homebuyers report.The Cost Management Plan could include hired labour and building materials.Indirect costs would include equipment rental fees, insurance, and general maintenance.

Purchasing a new home is always an exciting time especially for first time buyers, its a huge investment and must rely on professionals to provide the correct information of the buildings integrity and to raise concerns or issues that need to be rectified in there reports. That's why surveyors are involved in the initial house purchase.
Surveyors must be affiliated to a governing body such as The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS to be recognised in UK. but this does not mean they are all thorough and good.

All Mortgage companies require a Surveyor to be involved during the purchasing of a property, these are usually very basic and many use generic templates to produce the report.

Once the Surveyor's report is received we liaise with the estate agent directly to book a site visit.
Over 38 years of experience within the construction industry especially on Period Properties, our Building Survey/Cost Management Report is the most thorough and detailed report that you can commission on the condition of a property.
Not only do we provide our very own Survey, but we also apply COSTS against the items raised in the original Surveyors Report.
During our survey, if other issues are found that are not on the surveyor's report we would apply a recommendation and apply a cost.
If Structural defects are raised in the Report. We have our own In-House Structural Engineer and offer a full package including party wall agreements and submission service.

Our fees for this service start from just £450.00 which is REFUNDABLE if LR Building are commissioned to undertake the works.
